Share cards: framed photo, before and after, pose card
Posepass turns a shot into one of three cards: a framed photo, a before-and-after or a pose card with the drawn figure and three directions. Export in 9:16 or 1:1. Every card carries the Posepass name, a link to the pose and a QR code, so viewers can open the same pose.

Which cards can I make?
Framed photo shows your photo in a frame with the pose name. Before and after shows how they took it on the left and how it should be on the right. Pose card shows Try this pose, the drawn figure and the three directions.
Where does the before photo come from?
You can use one of four drawn classic mistakes (head cut off, too much sky, tilted horizon, shot from above), one of your own shots, or a photo chosen from Photos through the system picker.
Frames, formats and language
Nine frame styles: Paper, Sun and Ink are free, and Dusk, Arch, Blue hour, Line, Cutout and Caption bar are Pro. Choose Story 9:16 or Post 1:1, and card text in English or Russian.
What is on the footer?
The Posepass wordmark, posepass.app/p/ and the pose id, and a QR code with Scan to try this pose. The footer cannot be removed. It is how a viewer finds the exact pose in two taps.
What gets shared?
Only what you choose. A card goes through the iOS share sheet as an image plus a text with the pose link. The link has a pose id and nothing about you. See the privacy policy.
How do I share?
Tap Share to send the PNG and a text with the link through the iOS share sheet. Save to Photos adds it to your library, and Copy link copies the pose link. Saving asks for add-only access to Photos.
How do I make my first card, step by step?
The share screen opens right after you keep a shot.
- Shoot a pose and tap Keep shot. The share screen opens with a framed card.
- Swipe between Framed photo, Before and after and Pose card.
- Choose Story 9:16 or Post 1:1.
- Pick a frame style from the row.
- Tap Share, Save to Photos or Copy link.
When should I use each card?
The three cards do different jobs.
- Framed photo: the shot came out well and you want to post it.
- Before and after: a teaching post, or a way to show a friend what changed between the first try and the keeper.
- Pose card: you have no photo yet, or you want to pass on the idea. It is the only card available without a kept shot.
How do I make a before and after that shows a real change?
Tap Change the before. You can pick a drawn classic mistake, one of your own shots, or a photo from your library through the system picker, which shows Posepass only the photo you pick.
The honest version uses your own first attempt as the before. Shoot the pose without the outline, then again with it, and compare the two. The four drawn mistakes are handy when you have no early shot to use.
Which format and frame should I pick?
Story 9:16 fills a phone screen, and Post 1:1 suits a grid. Light frames such as Paper and Sun are calm. Ink is a dark frame that makes bright photos stand out, and Caption bar puts the text under the photo.
Try the same card in two frames before you send it. The preview updates at once.
What happens when someone scans the code?
The QR code and the printed link carry the pose id and nothing about you. The link is meant to open the pose inside the app when it is installed, and a web page for that pose when it is not. If the pose is a Pro pose, the link opens it in full for the person who receives it.
How is this different from a screenshot or a collage app?
A screenshot or a generic collage tool can frame a photo, but it cannot tell viewers how to repeat it. A Posepass card carries the pose name or the drawn figure with three directions, plus a link and a QR code to the pose. The card is an invitation to try the same shot.
What are the limits?
The footer cannot be removed. Cards are images in PNG format. Saving to Photos asks for add-only access, which lets Posepass add pictures without reading your library. Card language is a separate setting from the app language, so you can send a Russian card from an English app.
What makes a card worth sharing?
Cards work best when they teach something. A pose card with three directions gives a friend a task they can do today. A before and after with a visible fix, such as a level horizon or feet back in the frame, tells a story in one glance. Pick the pose you enjoyed most from a shot list and make that one first.
Frequently asked questions
Can I remove the Posepass footer?
No. The footer with the link and QR code stays on every card.
Which card formats are available?
9:16 and 1:1.
How many card frames are free?
Three: Paper, Sun and Ink. Six more are part of Pro.
How do I make a before and after card?
Open a kept shot, tap Before and after, then choose the before: a drawn classic mistake, one of your shots or a photo from your library.
Can I send a card in a different language than my app?
Yes. The share screen has its own Card language setting for English or Russian, separate from the app language.
