Posepass privacy policy
Your photos stay on your iPhone. Posepass has no account and no server that stores your data. Pose links contain only a pose id. Purchases are handled by Apple and a third-party billing service using an anonymous app user ID. There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Last updated 3 October 2026.
Who we are
The developer of Posepass is responsible for this policy. Posepass has no account and no server of its own, so the developer does not receive your photos or poses. Contact details are at the end of this page.
Data stored on your iPhone
Photos you keep, the pose and checklist of each shot, recently used poses, poses opened from links and your settings stay on this iPhone, in the app's private storage. There is no account and no server for this data. We cannot see it and cannot recover it.
Camera and photos
The camera shows a drawn pose outline and framing lines over the live view. The app does not detect, measure or analyse faces or bodies, and it uses no face data, Face ID or TrueDepth data. The level line uses the phone's motion sensors only while the camera is open. Readings are not stored except the tilt at the moment of the shot, used for the horizon check.
What leaves your device
Purchases are processed by Apple. To check whether Pro is active, the app uses a third-party billing service, which receives an anonymous app user identifier and your App Store transaction details, and keeps them under its own privacy policy. It never receives your photos. A card, photo or pose link goes only where you send it through the iOS share sheet. Pose links contain a pose id and nothing about you. There are no other third parties.
Analytics, ads and tracking
Posepass sends no analytics. There are no ads, no advertising identifier and no tracking across apps or websites.
Permissions
Camera: asked when you open the camera. Photos, add only: asked the first time you save. Choosing a before photo uses the system picker, which shares only the photo you pick. Motion: used for the level line.
Your choices
Data stays on your iPhone until you remove it. Settings > Delete all shots removes kept photos. Settings > Erase everything deletes all app data from this iPhone. Deleting the app also deletes its data. Purchases stay with your Apple ID and can be restored.
